Puppies expected June 2012

The history behind Aest Eloriel

Occasionally you have those moments in your life, where you can almost taste the future on your tongue. I had one of these moments, spring 1996, when I saw the movie "Babe" for the first time. Both my mother and I felt in love with the beautiful Border Collie "Fly" and so my passion for this extraordinary breed was born.

In the summer of 2008, more than 10 years later, my dream became real. I would get my own Border Collie, my Fynnley. A 5 months old Border Collie male. Fynn was, and sometimes still is, a traumatized dog. He was quite a hand full of work, but in the end, he's my everything.
Soon my Mum wanted her own Border, and there he was, our little Q!

Summer 2009 I got my Australian Red dream. My PowerPup!
We we're bitten by the Border-Collie-Virus and wanted to feel all the wonders of puppybirth-experience ourself.
Breeding is something you need to do in the 'right way' so we crossed all over the web and almost "ate" tons of books. Show-training was started and soon we won our first competition. All our work, for our purpose! 2012, the Aest Eloriel Kennel will have puppies!

Aest Eloriel, which means "star, waking above the forest" (Aest en Elo Riel) is the pseudonym I used in the web since my first meeting with a PC. We immediately agreed that it would become our kennel name.

Where is Aest Eloriel located?

Aest Eloriel is located in the southern tip of the beautiful Haspengouw to South Limburg, Belgium
Between Landen, Tongeren and Sint-Truiden, there are open fields, the best you can have as Border Bossy. Hours of walking with the dogs through the strawberry plantations, apple plantations and pear orchards.

We inhabit a house with garden and large driveway, where our dogs can romp to their heart's content. Every day we go out with dogs, if they're not exhausted by the frisbee training or dogdancetraining!
